Sankhya becomes majority partner of Ploomes

4/8/22

Sankhya, an ERP software company for business management from Minas Gerais, became the majority partner of Ploomes, the largest CRM company in Latin America. The acquisition was announced to the press last Wednesday.

Becoming Sankhya's commercial tool, Ploomes seeks to reach even more companies that need intelligence, control, and efficiency to improve their sales.

“The strategy is always to purchase complementary software,” said Felipe Calixto, CEO of Sankhya, to Value. With the acquisition of Ploomes, companies will optimize the offer of both software

Sankhya currently has 16,000 customers. While Ploomes serves 1260 consumers with its CRM solution.

Breno Riether, CGO of Sankhya, comments on the reason for choosing Ploomes. “Within the CRM market, it has the best product, the greatest potential for scale, and the best synergy with our customer base and culture,” she told Inforchannel.

After the acquisition, Ploomes' CRM becomes part of Sankhya's EIP offering, adding more benefits to the more than 16,000 clients from various segments that the management systems provider has throughout Brazil. “The tools will be available in a fully integrated manner,” says Riether.

For those who are already a Ploomes customer and partner, nothing changes (except for the better). The founding partners of Ploomes will continue to lead the company and the team will continue to fulfill the mission of providing the best CRM platform in the market, this time, with the support of one of the largest national ERP providers.

According to Matheus Pagani, CEO of Ploomes, the initiative will bring a series of benefits to the company. “We have been growing rapidly and with the potential of the name Sankhya reinforcing our brand, this growth will be even more aggressive. We will gain momentum to show the market our proposal, which is to automate processes, bringing productivity to employees and control to managers, transforming routines, from operation to management, to help our clients achieve greater engagement in sales”, he comments.

Ploomes is Sankhya's third acquisition. After raising R$ 425 million from Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, GIC Private Limited, in October 2020, the mining company acquired control of Neppo, a technology company for communication on multiple channels (omnichannel), followed by the purchase of Ponto Tel, which provides software for the human resources area.
